Tanda Tango & Social Club

Located in North Miami, the newly renovated Tanda Tango & Social Club spans 3,280 square feet of multifunctional space designed for dance, events, and community gatherings. As the drywall contractor, we played a critical role in preparing the space to support its dynamic use  from tango classes to private events hosting up to 145 guests.

This wasn’t a typical build. The design required precision framing and smooth, durable finishes  but most importantly, it demanded a subfloor and support system suitable for professional dancing. We worked closely with the design and construction team to integrate specialty materials that would ensure the integrity and comfort of the tango dance floor, while maintaining structural performance across the entire venue.

To meet the specific demands of the space, our team installed high-performance drywall and support systems that balanced durability, sound control, and flexibility. The special materials used beneath the dance floor provided both the resilience and responsiveness dancers expect all while keeping the project on schedule and within spec.

With its 2023 renovation complete, Tanda Tango is now a vibrant, movement-ready space and we’re proud to have helped create an environment where design, function, and rhythm all come together.
